Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Dubai
Upon arrival at Dubai International Airport, transfer to the hotel with our receptionist’s assistance. The rest of time is freely on your own arrangement. The hotel check-in time is after 3pm.

Day 2: Dubai
After the breakfast, free day at leisure in Dubai or take part in optional tour of Expo Dubai 2020 (including one-day ticket+transfer): $190/pp. (B)

Day 3: Dubai
After breakfast, have a PCR test (the expenses need be paid extra). Then, observe the Burj Al Arab Hotel(Sailboat Hotel) outside, which is one of the most famous landmarks in Dubai. Then, take the Monorail to overlook the Palm Island(including one-way ticket, $8/pp). Viewed from above, the manmade island resembles a stylised palm tree, which was built from reclaimed land mass and a series of artificial archipelagos. Afterwards, go to the world’s tallest building- Burj Khalifa and enjoy the wonderful view on the viewing platform ‘At The Top’(including ticket of Non-prime hours,$42/pp). Later on, enjoy shopping time in Dubai Mall and see Indoor Aquarium from outside. Today’s dinner please arrange on own. (B/L)

Day 4: Dubai- Abu Dhabi- Dubai
After breakfast, transfer to Abu Dhabi, visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosques. The mosque holds a Guinness World Record for the largest hand-woven carpet and also boasts one of the largest chandeliers in a mosque. Then, have a photostop at Emirates Palace from outside. This lavish property is world-famous thanks to its enchanting Arabesque style, award-winning five-star hospitality. Afterwards, visit the Louvre Abu Dhabi(including ticket, $18/pp). Louvre Abu Dhabi is the Arab world’s first museum, the incredible structure of the museum was inspired by the region’s rich architectural traditions and the museum’s unique location. Later on, proceed to Qasr Al Watan(including ticket, $18/pp), a working Presidential palace and a majestic cultural landmark that invites the world to discover the rich legacy of knowledge and tradition. Transfer back to Dubai after Abu Dhabi’s visit. (B/L/D)

Day 5: Dubai ✈️ Negombo
Today, you can choose to take part in the optional tour of traditional parts in Dubai: $160/pp. First, visit the Dubai Museum and encounter colourful dioramas and enlightening historic exhibits (Travelers who arrive on Monday visit Al Fahidi Historical District instead ). Housed in the Al Fahidi Fort, this is the oldest existing building in the city and a must-visit for a taste of old Dubai. Then, visit the traditional markets: Gold Souk and Spice Souk. Then, take the traditional water taxi -Abras across Creek Bay to admire the ancient merchants’ houses and modern buildings on both sides of the river. Transfer to airport and fly to Sri Lanka. Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, transfer to the hotel with our receptionist’s assistance. A PCR test will be performed upon arrival at hotel. (B)

Day 6: Negombo – Dambulla
After breakfast, leave for Pinnawala and visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, you could witness baby elephants being bottle fed or moving around freely. It is rightly a sincere sight to observe how these gentle giants – orphaned and sometimes three-legged – are taken care of since 1975. Afterwards, transfer to the Sigiriya rock fortress, which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa in the 5th century. The ”Lion Rock” is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 metres from the scrub jungle. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock and enjoy the world-renowned frescoes of the ”Heavenly Maidens”. (B/L/D)

Day 7: Dambulla – Kandy
After breakfast, visit Dambulla Cave Temple, an icon in the face of Sri Lanka. Afterwards transfer to Kandy and visit Royal Botanical Gardens. First developed as a pleasure garden under royalty and later harmonized by the British, it is a flourishing national asset in the Wonder of Asia. In the afternoon, head to Dalada Maligawa. The Temple is a world-renowned place of worship, where the left Canine tooth of Gautama Buddha is enshrined. The temple which is venerated by thousands of local & foreign devotees and tourists daily was named as a world heritage by UNESCO. Walk through the center of Kandy, bundled with latest and world class brands, bazaar, an arts & crafts center, as well as a gem museum & lapidary. Watch the Kandyan Cultural Show in the evening and experience the vibrant culture of Sri Lanka. (B/L/D)

Day 8: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, transfer to Nuwara Eliya. Visit Mackwoods Labookellie Tea Centre, where the best tea in the world is produced. Here you could observe all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea here. Next, go to Nuwara Eliya Post Office. This is an English-style building and now has been repainted. You can not only take pictures here, but also send unique postcards to your family, friends and yourself. (B/L/D)

Day 9: Nuwara Eliya – Kataragama
After breakfast, head to Kataragama and visit Yala National Park in the afternoon . Yala hosts a variety of ecosystems ranging from moist monsoon forests to freshwater and marine wetlands. It provides jeeps and gives the best opportunity to witness Sri Lanka’s broad variety of wildlife: colorful painted stork, crocodiles, lovely fantailed peacocks, active monkeys, elephants and leopard. (Tips: The animals in this national park are all in natural habitats and cannot be restricted to specific animal areas to be witnessed.) (B/L/D)

Day 10: Kataragama – Galle – Ahungalla
After breakfast, leave for Galle, visit Weligama on the way. Weligama is well known for its stilt-fishermen and this unique method of fishing is highly photogenic. Then, transfer to Galle Fort. The Galle Fort, also known as the Dutch Fort, is a historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument. Visit the Galle Museum, located in the Galle Fort, the museum houses a limited collection of exhibits from the Portuguese, Dutch and British periods. Later on, transfer to Hikkaduwa Beach. Known for its palm-fringed landscape with alluring waters, the beach is perfect for any traveller looking for recreation, leisure, rest, and relaxation. (Tips: Remember to take your swimsuits today) Today, have a PCR test for your departure. (B/L/D)

Day 11: Ahungalla – Colombo
After breakfast, tansfer to Colombo. En route visit Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery. The centre functions mainly as a hatchery and makes huge efforts to increase the rate of hatching, and survival of baby turtles in their very initial stages. In the afternoon, drive along the clean streets edging with lavish clothing, food & tea boutiques. Head along Bauddhaloka Mawatha towards ‘Arcade’ facing a historic way post, the Independence Square, Old parliament building. Smell the scent of incense while listening to the chiming bells of Gangarama temple. Return to the hotel in the evening to rest and enjoy dinner in the hotel. If you leave on a flight to Singapore, Dubai or other places in the early hours next day, you could have a rest in hotel until the transfer to the airport. (B/L/D)

Day 12: Colombo ✈️ Home
Transfer to the airport for your flight. (If you leave on a flight in the early hours of the day, the breakfast will be regarded as waiver). (B)

Remarks

* Travelers must hold a negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure, a vaccination certificate showing full vaccination and a travel insurance cover for COVID-19.
* Our group provides assistance of PCR Tests: for Sri Lanka(the expenses need be paid extra, each time around $50/pp), for flight back to USA/Canada (the expenses need be paid extra, each time around $40/pp).
* According to the anti-epidemic policy of UAE, half of the seats in the vehicle will remain vacant.
* In Sri Lanka, children under 5 years old are allowed to stay without bed. Children of 5-12 years old are subject to staying with bed.
* If you want to take part in optional tours in Dubai, please let us know when you sign up for the package tour.
* When you travel in Sri Lanka, it is recommended to give about 1~2 dollar at a time to shoe keeping at Temples, Porterage at hotels, etc..
*The tour fee does not include the air ticket from Dubai to Colombo, connecting flights of Emirates Airlines are suggested for this tour.
