Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Home City  ✈️ Nairobi (NBO)
Upon arrival at Nairobi International Airport, transfer to the hotel with our receptionist’s assistance. The rest of the time is freely on your own arrangement. The hotel check-in time is after 2pm.

Day 2: Nairobi-Samburu
After breakfast, transfer to Samburu National Reserve. Samburu Reserve is a unique wildlife conservation haven famous for an abundance of rare species of animals such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive in the reserve upon arrival.  (B/L/D)

Day 3: Samburu
After breakfast, start your game drive today in the midst of this rugged and beautiful semi-arid desert of northern Kenya. Samburu National Reserve is very peaceful and the Ewaso Ng’iro river runs through it and the mixture of acacia, riverine forest, thorn trees and grassland vegetation. The reserve is also a home to a population of Elephants, an important attraction of large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah, as well as wild dogs and birds. (B/L/D)

Day 4: Samburu-Aberdare
After breakfast, leave for Aberdare National Park. Aberdare National Park is in a cloud forest in some of the higher areas of Kenya’s central highlands marked by deep ravines and forested mountain slopes. You can observe many kinds of animals such as elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks and occasionally maybe a rhino from balconies and lounges at the hotel which provide superb vantage points for viewing while enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. (B/L/D)

Day 5: Aberdare – Naivasha
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is the highest and the most beautiful of the Rif Valley lakes. It is a area popular for bird watching (over 400species have been recorded) and also a favourite weekend retreat for Nairobi residents, who come here to sail, water ski and fish. Take a boat on Lake Naivasha, enjoy the beautiful lake and see animals such as hippos, antelopes, giraffes, pelicans, egrets and so on there. (B/L/D)

Day 6: Naivasha-Maasai Mara
After breakfast, transfer to the famous Maasai National Park. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is located in the border area of southwestern Kenya and Tanzania, and is connected to the Tanzania Serengeti Animal Reserve. The reserve was built in 1961 and covers an area of 1,800 square kilometers. There are many animals in the reserve, with about 95 species of mammals and 450 species of birds. It is one of the best wildlife reserves in the world. Tip: Please don’t wear bright clothes in the jungle, never get off your car and feed animals. You can also join an optional tour to have a visit to the Maasai villages to learn the local culture and customs, $45/pp. (B/L/D)

Day 7: Maasai Mara
You will spend the day on the safari which brings you closer to nature. You can join an optional tour as well: arise before dawn, and take off in a hot air balloon as you watch the breathtaking sunrise over the Masai Mara, $460/pp. Wildlife is abundant in the Reserve with the gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded among them 57 birds of prey. If you visit between July and October, you will have an opportunity to spot the annual wildebeest migration. (B/L/D)

Day 8: Masai Mara- Nairobi ✈️ Home City
After breakfast, transfer back to Nairobi. Go shopping for local souvenirs for your family and friends is suggested for you. Transfer to the airport for your flight back. (Please choose flights departing after 19pm). (B/L)

* The tour fee does not include the gratuities of drive guide, it is recommended: $10 or above per person per day , for this itinerary based on 8 days 7 nights, calculated on a 8-day basis, totaling $80 or above per person.
* Travelers must hold a negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure, a vaccination certificate showing full vaccination, and a travel insurance cover for COVID-19 and a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
* To enter Kenya, you need to apply for an e-visa in advance, and the online visa application is at your own expense.
*Our group provides assistance regarding PCR Tests: for flight back to USA/Canada (the expenses need be paid extra, each time around $150/pp).
