After breakfast, visit the Forbidden City, which is the royal palace of the 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is an unparalleled architectural masterpiece in the history of Chinese Ancient Architecture. Visit Temple of Heaven a World Heritage Site, where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to do worshipping and offering sacrifices to heavn to pray for a good harvest. In addition to the exquisite architecture of the halls, the ingenious design of the Echo Wall and the Three Echo Stone also make you marvel at the wisdom of the ancients. Tiananmen Square where the Monument to the People’s Heroes and the Chairman Mao Zedong Memorial Hall stands are located in the centre. Today dinner by your own.

Day4: Beijing /Chengde   (B,L,D)

After breakfast, visit Jinshanling Great Wall (shuttle bus included), where is located at the junction of Beijing and Chengde City. It is the the most beautiful and majestic section of the Great Wall built by Qi Jiguang, an outstanding General in the Ming Dynasty. After lunch, head to Chengde. Visit the Putuo Zongcheng Temple. The main building is modeled after the Potala Palace, it is also called the small Potala Palace.

Special arrangments (during from May to Sep): In the evening enjoy the large-scale real scene performance—Peak Dynasty·Kangxi Grand Ceremony.

Day5: Chengde/ Beijing  (B,L)

After breakfast, visit the Xumifushou Temple. In 1780, to celebrate the 70th birthday of Emperor Qianlong, the 6th Panchen Lama of Tibet traveled more than 20,000 miles to Chengde. Emperor Qianlong in order to welcome his arrival, he built the Xumifushou Temple for the 6th Panchen Lama to lecture and live. After that, visit the world’s largest royal garden—Chengde Mountain Resort, it is took 89 years to complete. After lunch, return to Beijing.
